“Enhanced Protocol for Periodontal Soft Tissue Management” by Dr. Axel Endruhn

Join us for the lecture on Thursday, May 15th, from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM to explore how the innovative LM™ periodontal surgery products and techniques can transform your practice and improve patient outcomes.

This lecture will present a structured and specific protocol required for the effective management of periodontal and peri-implant soft tissues using minimally invasive surgical techniques. Dr. Axel Endruhn will explore the IETS protocol in detail, showcasing its application in clinical cases, including the treatment of gingival recessions and other complex scenarios.

New EU-certificate granted for LM-Dental™

We at LM-Dental™ are dedicated to meet the high quality standards for developing and manufacturing first class products which make the dental care safe efficient and pleasant. We are proud to inform that LM-Dental™ has been granted a new EU-certificate and all our periodontal hand instruments now conform to the MDR class Ir standards. You will notice that the CE-mark on the product, product packages, and on any related marketing materials for the periodontal instruments now includes an identification number for the notified body. Please check our current certificates and declarations here.

Above an example of the new CE-mark for the products under EU MDR Ir class.
A notified body is an organisation designated by an EU country to assess the conformity of certain products before being placed on the market. The European Commission publishes a list of such notified bodies.

The periodontal hand instruments are our first product group moving to the EU MDR Class Ir and we will continue the transition project with next-in-line products groups.

Chosen by the clinician

We are starting a new concept called “Chosen by the clinician“. This concept aims to introduce some LM-Dental™ hand instruments and demonstrate through step-by-step clinical cases how these instruments are used to perform outstanding treatment results. The important part of the concept is to collaborate with dental experts and Key Opinion Leaders to develop recommended treatment cases. In the future we plan to have recommendations for dental treatments covering various expertise areas like prophylaxis, periodontics, restorations, extraction, endodontics. We trust that such recommendations by experts showing their technique and presenting their chosen instruments will be really intriguing!

We are now kicking off the concept together with RDH and clinical lecturer Tatiana Brandt (School of Oral Health Care, University of Copenhagen) who presents three treatment cases with the chosen instruments for effective periodontal instrumentation. Check the detailed presentations of all three cases under the References section!

In June we organized “Midnight Sun Key Opinion Leader Event” for dental hygienists and dental therapists which brought together industry professionals for an experience of learning, networking, and collaboration. During the event, we had discussions about the latest trends and advancements in dental care, conducted engaging knowledge-sharing workshops, and fostered dynamic idea exchanges. These sessions provided invaluable insights and perspectives for all of us.
